“Caracal has signed an important deal in Italy” announced Mr. Saeed Al Shamsi, Commercial Director of Caracal LLC, the first state-owned firearm manufacturer in th Arab world.
The Abu Dhabi based company, a subsidiary of the Tawazun Holding, has started operations on the competitive civilian and law enforcement markets opening an export line to Italy.
“The first lots of pistols will be shipped shortly after IDEX 2009” continues Mr. Al Shamsi. “We are currently evaluating the participation to more police and military tenders in Europe” discloses Al Shamsi “and we trust that this fact itself will soon cause quite a stir in the semiautomatic pistol market of the old continent”.
Caracal LLC grabbed the IDEX visitors’ attention once again this year by introducing the sub-compact 9mm caliber pistol the Caracal SC, another innovative design by Wilham Bubits, the Austrian Director of R&D and chief designer of the Abu Dhabi company, already known in the international industry for his major contirbutions.
