Musharraf: UAE First country to assist Pakistan at all times
Pervez Musharaf, President of Pakistan, on Wednesday lauded the role of the UAE in providing assistance to his country. He said: 'The UAE is the first country which always comes to the aid of Pakistan at all times and under any conditions'. This was during his visit to a field hospital erected in Balakot by the UAE Armed Forces where he was received by Brigadier Abdul Rahman Ibrahim bin Abdul Aziz, leader of the UAE Medical Team.
Musharraff appreciated the medical equipment provided by the UAE Armed Forces to the earthquake victims in Balakot and surrounding areas affirming that ' The aid portrays the depth of bilateral relations between the UAE and Pakistan'.
